Menue in the Restaurant is way more expensive than the one online.

We were absolutely not satisfied. We found the food to be tourist food and the staff sometimes very unfriendly. 2 points only for the old atmosphere and the very friendly service from the Hanover area

It's very cozy with a great, friendly, but also chic atmosphere. The food was very, very delicious and deliciously seasoned! There is something for every taste on the varied menu. The service was extremely friendly, quick and helpful. We would like to come again.

Unfortunately the char was fried and lukewarm. The veal breast tasted meaningless. The hygiene requirements were poorly implemented. Disinfecting 2 tables with a paper towel is difficult. Children's chair or chairs were not "considered" at all. The service did SERVICE BY DIRECTIVE. Looked very annoyed / rushed, despite fewer guests. Value for money? We won't be back.

A very nice restaurant with good home cooking. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and the portions were large. The ambience with the paintings and vaults is very nice. Definitely worth a visit and highly recommended.

You sit comfortably in the very beautiful inner courtyard. The food, I ordered the baked veal head, was good. The service was nice and very attentive.

We went here to eat last night. We can't understand the comments regarding the food! We had delicious food in absolutely sufficient quantities. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The ambience is super cozy.

We (my partner and I) can only recommend the Ratskeller in Würzburg. We recently hosted our wedding there. Starting with the reservation and arrangement of our celebration with the friendly, competent Mr. L. from the office. About the warm service from Ms. Sch .... up to the delicious food, we had a successful celebration. We will be back and will recommend you very much.

In the historic center of the city we had lunch on the outdoor terrace. Internally the place is very attractive with a medieval spirit. Very good steak and roast potatoes. The meat was cooked on a clean grill and this is very important. Friendly and knowledgeable staff

Wanted to sit outside in the afternoon, politely asked for a table and were directed very rudely and harshly into the courtyard by a waiter. A little more courtesy towards the guests was only commented on with the sentence 'You have only worked here for 10 years, turns around and goes. Since we had reserved for the evening we wanted to cancel but didn't do it. The food was excellent, the waitress was polite and very nice. 2 star deduction because of the really rude waiter

On Saturday we were lucky and were able to secure a table in the really beautiful inner courtyard without a reservation. The short waiting time until the table was made ready for us was definitely worth it. We had a great evening with delicious food and really very friendly service.

Unfortunately, they try to sell us in almost every restaurant these days ..... I ordered porcini ravioli and half of the ravioli were filled with beetroot! It costs almost the same in the EK .... That cooked the pasta too long , and tasteless was irrelevant. Well you can try ... the service staff was still nice - she can't help it ... well in the middle of the pedestrian zone everyone thinks he can do anything.

We like to go here unfortunately the kitchen doesn't always promise the real thing. The soup is lukewarm and so are the sausages. Please increase !! You can.

We had a TERRIBLE waitress today. I've never experienced anything like this before - I think one more sentence and he would have knocked me over the head with the menu. We ordered drinks and wanted to get advice from him about finger food. He got so mad - for whatever reason. We went straight. I know that such restaurants do not need regular customers - they live in the middle of the city center of tourists, but SUCH AS IS NOT POSSIBLE! And by the way - there was almost nothing going on. Only two tables were occupied (7.45 p.m.) in the back of Langgasse. Never again !!!

Food was quick and the service is on the ball. Unfortunately the food was only lukewarm, especially the meat. Wasn't acceptable for the price. Wait staff apologized for clearing up, but doesn't help me anymore either ... Price / performance a bit too high, but location, location, location

The food was ok, nothing special, but the bill was not really. There was an extra "tip" on the bill, for the amount of €3,80. According to the waittress it was for the extra work they have because of Covid-19, like cleaning etc. But it was not stated anywhere. She said it was very common in Germany. We did encounter it once more, but that was only €1,- per person and clearly stated before you sit down at a table. Also the amount seemed a bit strange to us. Especially as it rounded the bill to exactly €40,- So that meant the original bill would be €36,20. She gave us then a check with the tax numbers, so we could somehow deduct it from taxes, she said. How do you deduct a "tip" from taxes? It seems all nonsense to us. Hence the low rating and for sure never will be back here. We know again why we normally avoid central places. No incentive to be customer friendly or make great food, as there are always customers and every time new ones. We visited the place about 3 weeks ago. And regarding Covid-19-measures: the waitress only covered her mouth, not her nose.

What a great celebration! The service was refreshing, competent and super friendly, the menu and the wine selection perfectly coordinated and simply a pleasure! The ambience is uniquely beautiful. Looking forward to next time! Thanks to E. & his colleagues

Nice inviting place, food was good middle-class, unfortunately we had the bad luck that it was raining and in the covered courtyard, a guest was smoking cigar. .. unfortunately the food doesn't taste that good anymore .. staff was very friendly

We found an outside table for four at the Ratskeller for lunch. After five days in Germany, we finally got a Bratwurst and sauerkraut! The brats in this region are shaped like footlong hotdogs in the United States. They were good and nicely presented! The service was good as well, except the same common European difficulty for the ladies to get their diet sodas with some ice. Beer is so much easier!

Not what we were expecting however the hosts were great and the food was excellent quite eclectic

Worst food and disaster service.... The manager make us favour that she gave us not tasty food with taste of paper... Have no idea in service and no idea about cooking food. So many other options near it- dont do that mistake like us!

The restaurant that most satisfied me in Wurzburg so far. The fish was good and without oils and sauces that altered the flavor. The Wissbear Dunkel was really good. The Apple Strudel is also worthy of praise. The staff was courteous and attentive

Extremely bad service, older lady waitress, bizarre behaviour when we were leaving: unwilling to take money, rolling her eyes, refusing to bring the bill, rude behaviour when confronted. Food was mediocre, ambience just plain, maybe thanks to Mr. Harris. Never again. Left a bad taste of whole Würzburg.

Everything was fairly ok. Good service. Nice beverages. Hugo drink served lovely and chilled with good flavours. Food was tasty. Loved the mushroom soup. Main course was slightly over cooked but very nice.

The waiters and waitresses were very nice and the restaurant has a good atmosphere! We spent a pleasant time there. The Schorle did not taste as good as expected, but still delicious!
